Madis Ligema (born 1986), has a background in culture studies and semiotics. He has worked for the Estonian Broadcasting Corporation as a radio host & editor, and as producer and director at independent film studios such as Kuukulgur Film. 
In 2013 he started his own production company Davai Laama. Since then has been working on many projects for ARTE, VPRO & Estonian National Broadcasting. His main focus is storytelling, exploring the narrow border between morality, reality and fiction.
